Dual-wield frost tanking with a runeforge is coming. My guide is helpful here.
Also the change to IT Glyph is very interesting and will have consequences in frost and unholy builds.
Notable changes:
- Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle: There is now a 1-handed version of this rune in addition to the current 2-handed rune.
- Glyph of Icy Touch: Instead of granting additional runic power, this glyph now causes Frost Fever to deal 20% additional damage.
- More patch note changes.

First thought about it would be to stack 2 “Rune of the Nerubian Carapace” (name of the new rune enchantment) on 1h-Weapons.
4% more HP and 50 points of pure Defense sound very nice, a little bit too nice. They will most probably adapt it so it will be the half of the Stoneskin Gargoyle, as with all the other 1h Runes.

Yeah, it’s going to be exactly the same as Stoneskin. They’re not so silly to make it 4%; was just a tooltip error.
Sounds good…I’ve been DW 2 Peacekeeper Blades when I tanked, but found Marrowstrike to be more suitable since I couldn’t use Stoneskin on the Peacekeepers, but I’m going back to DW tanking once this Rune of Nerubian Carapace hits Runeforging soon.
the rune gives 1%hp and 12 defense. not 2% and 25 defense.
