Hi all,
I’m a little busy with new year, buying a cat for my kids, and other housey stuff, so will do some more posting in the new year! Hope you’re all well and happy.
There was a great set of questions from Vigan on Frost tanking, which I’ll get to next. I just answered one about necrosis.
The traffic from 3.3 was fairly insane, more than doubled the hits here, peaked at 64K hits in a week instead of the usual 25K or so. I served over 50Gb of data. It’s settling down a bit now, I think everyone’s finished re-specing. I have re-enabled the funky cloud navigator.
All the best, and happy new year!

Gravity mk1 is but a fading legend, so I’ll be sure my new hero has a portrait taken of him for your viewing pleasure.

A tip – check out YSlow and Smush.it to figure out where else you can pick up savings.

It’ll include compression of images, scripts, etc. For example, you use JQuery and stuff as part of your theme, but Google has a hosted version that will cost you zero bandwidth.

Thanks. I have used yslow a lot, but some of the problems I can’t fix. Minify, for example, is hard to implement. I tried WP MInify but it broke too many addons, so was going to be very high maintenance. W3 Total Cache is awesome, and my preferred cache, but broke MobilePress, so I reverted to Super Cache.
However, I hadn’t found how to offload jquery before, so that’s really helpful thank you.
