Ulduar 10 in a pug tonight

I just came out of an Ulduar 10 PUG. When I noticed it on trade chat, LF1M healer, I thought that’d be fun (and no waiting, since Character data not available. was the last slot required).

Before that I’d just been passing time. In fact, just doing that alone is worth comment. I thought “hmm what should I do tonight, I’ve a few hours free”. I did the random daily of course, then actually sat and stared at the

New LFG is win

I really like the upcoming changes for LFG. It shows a well-thought out solution, which understands the problems it’s trying to solve too.

For example, having the system teleport you to and from the dungeon is an amazing change. That alone will create usage of the LFG system, because of the time it saves travelling; and allows people to keep doing their daily quests or whatever until the full team is assembled.

Cross-server PUG dungeons: Blizzcon

One item that got my attention is this, from the wowraid liveblogging in Dungeon & Raid Panel:

1:42 csulok:  CROSSREALM PUG DUNGEONS! 1:42 Cartina:  Cross-Server LFG being talked about 1:43 csulok:  planned for patch 3.3

Awesome.

That will make off-hours guilds much more viable, since you can PUG to fill your final slots. I wonder if it’ll extend to PUG raids; probably will because they’d be using the same LFM technology.
